I found this couple on my fav blog, Style Me Pretty.

It was the first thing I saw when i opened the page and it literally took my breath away, I actually gasped.

With a throw to the 1950's with the gown, the pose, the tattoo, even the hair, this is what expressing your personality and style is about!

Weddings in Australia are still so "same, same". But thankfully we are catching up with the rest of the world in terms of style and creativity.

The photographer is Graig Paulson, I am now googling everything he has ever done.

Snow White is getting married.....in a Collette Dinnigan gown, ofcourse.

So I have just been blown away by the latest Bridal Collection from Aussie Designer, Collette Dinnigan.
The Snow White Collection is perfect for Autumn/Winter brides and is simply stunning. We get so bombarded with overseas designers its so lovely to be able to rely on such a talented Aussie designer to always come through with the goods. I'm sure almost every bride-to-be will fall in love with atleast one of these deigns. I love that she has catered each dress sp perfectly to a particular style of bride and theme. Its all so effortlessly romantic, chic, classic yet modern. Beautiful detail and embellishments really finish these gowns off and I'm just so proud Collete is an Aussie!! Shall i say Aussie one more time?? AUSSIE! Yay.

Long Time, No Blog.....

Well, HELLO fellow bloggers!
Long time no Blog! I'm very sorry for the delay in updates, but as you may know from reading my blog, I have been busy getting married, and with all the hoo-haa that goes along with it.
So here is a brief run down (in point form ofcourse), of the major events that hahave happened since the beginning of April.......

• April 2nd- Ceremony Rehearsal at Chruch followed by dinner at home for aeveryone involved and a few ring-ins- roughly 20 people.
• April 3rd- THE BIG DAY! Amazing day that I will remember forever. We also had Bubba Baptised at the same time, straight after The Kiss. 2 birds, one stone kinda thing.
• April 4th- Off to beautiful Noosa for 5 days for our Honeymoon. Bliss. Arrive home April 9th.
• April 10th- Bubba's 1st Birthday!! Small gathering of Hubby's side of the family and my parents at home for early lunch, 15 people including Bub.
• April 10th- That afternoon, both sets of parents, Hubby's 2 sisters, Hubby, myself and Bubba head out to Brother S's place for his engagement party. Fun evening seeing old friends and family who were at the wedding the week before.
• April 11th- My parents head home to Northern NSW after 10 days in Brisbane. Sad to see them go as its so lovely having them around all the time, but know they will glad to be in their own home sleeping in their own bed again!
• April 12th- Hubby's Birthday!!! His parents both forget to say Happy Birthday in the morning and one of his sister's rings and when he answers the phone she just ask's for Dad...hehe oh well, they all soon remember and we go to the local Bowlo that night for dinner with Hubby's side of family as its also his Grandmothers bday the next day on the 13th....!!!!

And we're done! PHEW!!!
It has been an amazing month so far and we are now all winding down, Only to get a cold just this week. Hubby, myself, one of Hubby's sisters and my Mum have all had it. We think we got it from Bubba. Who she got it from we have no idea...! Atleast we all got it AFTER the Wedding and Honeymoon and 1st Birthday and Engagement party!

I am going to post more blogs over the coming weeks about certain parts of the wedding, for example, the hair and makeup, the flowers and table decorations, my dress and the bridesmaids dresses. That way I can go into a bit more detail about each subject, post photos on that subject and praise the people who helped make our day the best day of our lives!

We are still waiting on all the professional photos, but for now I shall leave with you a sneak peak at some, just to tease you!!
